Ingredients:

Chicken meat (diced)          250g

Mixed Vegetable                ½ cup

Onion (diced, approx)        ½ cup

 

Marinates:

Pastry:

Butter                     6oz

Baking power         ¾ tsp

Milk                       3 tbsp

Flour                      2 & ½ cup

Salt                        ½ tsp

Large egg               1

Small egg                1

 

Spices:

Sugar                     1 & ½ tsp

Salt                        1 tsp

Soya sauce             2 tsp

Corn starch            2 tsp

Turmeric                 1 tsp

Curry powder         1 tsp

Coconut power      1 tbsp

 

Directions:


  1. Filling: Spoon 1 tbsp oil into a heated wok. Fry onion, add chicken meat and stir fry until done. Add mix vegetable and seasoning. Lastly add 1 tbsp butter, stir to mix. Dish up for filling.

  2. Chop butter, add flour, baking power, sugar, salt. Large egg, combine together. Add milk and knead to a smooth pastry.

  3. Roll flat pastry. Cut out small round sheets, place into tin pie shells. Add filing and covered with another round pastry sheet. Press edge firmly. Cut lightly with a knife on the surface of the pastry and brushed with beaten egg. Place pies into preheated 360’F oven and bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
